The Parliamentarians came to the UK at the invitation of Her Majesty's Foreign & Commonwealth Office A visit to the London Central Mosque to offer Friday prayers was a highlight of their tour. The Pariamentarians among whom were two ladies, offered their prayers and were entertained to a midday meal. The group was accompanied by Mr. Nigel Harland Liaison Officer. The Director General of the Islamic Cultural Centre welcomed the visitors and portrayed for them a short history of the Centre and its various services for the Muslims in the UK and also interfaith work. Finally the ICC gave each guest a copy of the Quran translated in Pushto language. //see more pictures
