World Day of Arabic Language on 18th December 2015

On the World Day of Arabic Language on 18th December 2015, the Director General of The Islamic Cultural Centre; Dr Ahmad Al-Dubayan delivered a lecture on 'Teaching Arabic in the Western Univiersities'. The lecture was attended by the Dean, Professors and Students of the Faculty of Arabic and Humanities at the Muhammad V University in Rabat, Morocco.

Language is not merely a tool for communication, but rather the bearer of a whole range of cultural expressions and a bridge enabling close relations between societies. The World Day of Arabic creates an occasion to raise awareness about the cultural and social treasure of the Arabic language and gives an opportunity to discover more about the language and its contribution to human civilization.
