Tabung Haji Hosts The Islamic Cultural Centre at the High Commission of Malaysia

The Islamic Cultural Centre was warmly welcomed at the Malaysian High Commission on Wednesday 23rd December 2015 for a Zakat giving Ceremony.

The Islamic Cultural Centre (ICC) was awarded a generous donation from the Chairman of Tabung Haji Cooperation Dato' Abdul Azeez Abdul Rahim to support the Zakat projects within the Centre.

The Chairman Dato' Abdul Azeez Abdul Rahim thanked and recognised the Islamic Cultural Centre for their efforts in supporting the Community through Zakat management and wanted to support the Islamic Cultural Centre and London Central Mosque Zakat Committee.

Mr. Feizal Muttur, Head of Finance and Administration and deputising for the Director General, Dr Ahmad Al Dubayan, accompanied by Mohamed Omar, Secretary Office represented the ICC at the Zakat giving ceremony. Mr. Feizal thanked Chairman Dato' Abdul Rahim and the High Commissioner Dato' Ahmad Rasidi Hazizi for their hospitality and donation and presented them with gifts on behalf of the Islamic Cultural Centre during the Reception.

Mr Muttur, on behalf of The Islamic Cultural Centre & The London Central Mosque Trust thanked the High Commsion and Tabunj Haji for the generous Zakat Donation. He also apologised on behalf of The ICC Director General Dr. Ahmad Al-Dubayan who was unable to attend due to travelling abroad. Dr Dubayan said "I apologise for not being able to attend myself but I send my warm wishes and invite your Excellency Dato' Ahmad Hazizi to the Islamic Cultural Centre in the near future. I also hope that The Islamic Cultural Centre will work closely with the Malaysian High Commission with projects and events in the coming new year.
