It is with great sorrow we report the recent passing of Dr. Bahij Mullah Howaish.
Dr. Bahij Mullah Howaish, a renound Islamic Scholar and Community leader from Cordoba, Spain was also the Secretary-General of the European Council for Mosques in Spain. Amongst many of his endeavours, he had previously met with Sheikh Saleh bin Abdulaziz Al Alsheikh, Minister of Islamic Affairs, Endowments, Call and Guidance - Saudi Arabia on discussing ways of enhancing cooperation between Saudi Arabia and the European Council for Mosques in Spain. He also spoke at the World Justice Project on Sharia Law as a traditional Justice System as he specialised in this field. |
