Dr Ahmad Al Dubayan, Director General of The Islamic Cultural Centre held a meeting with H.E. Syed Ibne Abbas, Pakistan High Commissioner to the UK in which they discussed building stronger relations between The Islamic Cultural Centre and the Pakistani Community within the United Kingdom. Dr Dubayan said it was very important to promote all the good work from the Pakistan Community to create greater community cohesion and to celebrate all the rich and diverse cultures from within the community. Discussions included holding Arts and Culture events aswell as Educational Programmes in the future. Dr Dubayan presented His Excellency with gifts including a copy of the Quran and books on Islam & Science amongst other publications by The Islamic Cultural Centre. |
