Latest NewsICC staff member partakes in the U.K Three Peaks Challenge
Over the Diamond Jubilee Weekend, our head of interfaith relation, embarked upon a massive test of endurance and stamina by climbing U.Ks three highest peaks in the Three Peaks Challenge.
Mr Omar Saddique travelled to Ben Nevis, Fort William in Scottish Highlands, Scafell Pike in The Lake District and Mount Snowdon in Wales to complete the ascent and descent of U.Ks three highest peaks in 24 hours in aid of raising money for water projects in Afghanistan. This was done in conjunction with Muslim Aid.
Mr Omar Saddique was also the first to ascend to the highest mountain in U.K, Ben Nevis in the Scottish Highlands, from this year’s Three Peaks Challenge.
