Dr. Abdulaziz Alwasil receives recognition for his work for the British Muslim Community.

The Islamic Cultural Centre was honoured to welcome Dr. Abdulaziz Alwasil - Outgoing Deputy Head of Mission for the Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia - London and Ambassador Designate of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the United Nations in Geneva.

Mr Feizal Muttur - Head of Finance & Administration presented Dr Alwasil with an award on behalf of the Director General Dr Ahmad Al Dubayan and all the staff at The Islamic Cultural Centre.

Dr. Alwasil stressed on the importance of interfaith dialogue and played tribute to the Islamic Cultural Centre describing the Interfaith event as a potent testament of the great work and determination of the Centre in its efforts to promote good relationships and working partnerships between people of different faiths, beliefs and backgrounds.

Dr. Alwasil concluded his speech by thanking Dr. Al Dubayan - Director General, and the Centre for their diligence and steadfast approach in putting together the event. As a token of appreciation Dr. Alwasil was presented an award and he was wished all the best for his future endeavours.

The Centre was delighted to host Dr. Alwasil and was very grateful for the role that the Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia plays as one of the members of the Board of Trustees.
