Event details

The Charity Commission, the regulator of charities in England and Wales, is running a workshop for unregistered faith organisations in partnership with The London Central Mosque and Islamic Cultural Centre. The event is free to attend. Lunch will be provided and certificates of attendance will be available for participants.

We will cover the following topics:

1. Registering as a charity; benefits, opportunities and legal requirements.
2. Registering your faith organisation - practical steps.
3. Charity Commission - how we can support you.
4. Running and managing your faith charity

We are dedicated to making the event informative, relevant and interesting; therefore there will be opportunities for discussion and questions throughout the event.

Who should attend?

The event is specifically for trustees, managers, and others involved in faith charity governance whose faith organisations are not yet registered with the Commission. We will be joined by our specialist faith registration colleagues, who will provide extra support on the day.

If you are not registered but have an existing constitution or other governing document please do bring it along for our experts to help you with.
