Aims

• Our aim is to provide children of the Muslim and Arab communities, with Arabic language and prepare them to understand the Holy Qur'an, along with basic Islamic teachings in order to contribute to their upbringing as good citizens of the world.


• Our aim is also to create an opportunity for children to strengthen their bonds with others who share the same culture and which they celebrate together as a rich addition to the culture they are born in - namely British. By learning about the culture of their parents, language, customs and traditions, they widen their sense of identity and strengthen their self-esteem.


• Our aim is to stay in line with ways and styles of learning children are accustomed to in their schooling, by using a suitable curriculum and learning resources children enjoy and respond to. We diversify the activities and look at developing the children academically (lessons), socially and culturally (events) and physically (sports and competitions).


• Our school promotes the universal values of humanity, peace and tolerance that are inherent in the faith of Islam. We do not subscribe to any particular branch or school of thought and welcome children and families of all backgrounds, irrespective of their colour, creed or race.
