Islam & The Environment Event at ICC launches Environment & Sustainability Policy

The London Central Mosque and Islamic Cultural Centre held an event titled: Islam & The Environment: Promoting Sustainability, Protecting Our Environment, and Supporting Communities.

London Central Mosque held a special event exploring the deep connection between Islamic teachings and environmental stewardship.

This enlightening program featured guest speakers, and practical insights on how we can fulfill our religious duty to protect and preserve the Earth. The event aimed to inspire sustainable living through the lens of faith and to showcase the work being done in and by Westminster City Council.

This event brought together political leaders, local communities, faith leaders, environmental advocates, and local authorities to explore meaningful action in sustainability.

We all play a vital role in the collective effort to tackle climate change, encourage sustainable practices, and foster long term inclusive community participation.
