Islamic Circle: Dr Ahmad Al Dubayan, Director General Explores the Centrality of the Qur'an in Islam

The London Central Mosque Trust & Islamic Cultural Centre welcomed a large audience to its weekly Islamic Circle on Saturday, where the Director General, Dr Ahmad Al Dubayan, delivered a thought-provoking lecture entitled "Is the Qur'an the Only Way to Follow Islam?"

Drawing upon verses from the Holy Qur'an and the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), Dr Al Dubayan explored the relationship between the Qur'an and the Sunnah, highlighting the importance of understanding both as the authentic foundations of Islamic belief and practice. The lecture encouraged thoughtful reflection and concluded with an engaging question-and-answer session, during which attendees had the opportunity to discuss a range of contemporary and theological issues.

The Islamic Circle has been a longstanding educational programme of the London Central Mosque & Islamic Cultural Centre since 1979. Held every Saturday at 3:00pm, the series brings together distinguished scholars and guest speakers to deliver lectures on a wide range of Islamic topics, providing an opportunity for learning, reflection and community engagement.
