His Excellency Dato' Indera Dr Azfar bin Mohamad Mustafar, Malaysian Ambassador and Trustee Visits London Central Mosque

The Director General of the London Central Mosque Trust & Islamic Cultural Centre, Dr Ahmad Al Dubayan, was pleased to receive His Excellency Dato' Indera Dr Azfar bin Mohamad Mustafar, High Commissioner of Malaysia to the United Kingdom and a member of the Mosque's Board of Trustees, during an official visit to the Centre.
His Excellency was accompanied by Mr Mohiuddin Ghazali, Deputy High Commissioner, and Mr Adi Affendi Abdul Halim, Minister for Political Affairs. The Malaysian delegation was warmly welcomed by the Director General and senior members of staff.
During the visit, the delegation received a presentation on the work of the London Central Mosque and Islamic Cultural Centre, including its wide range of religious, educational, cultural and community services. This was followed by productive discussions on opportunities for future collaboration and engagement with the Malaysian diaspora and wider Muslim community in the United Kingdom.
His Excellency showed particular interest in the Centre's activities and community outreach, asking a number of questions about its services and how closer cooperation could be developed with the Malaysian High Commission and Malaysian community.
The meeting was followed by a guided tour of the Centre, Library, Prayer Hall and Exhibition Halls.
At the conclusion of the meeting, His Excellency expressed his sincere gratitude and appreciation to Dr Ahmad Al Dubayan and the management team for their warm hospitality and informative briefing. He also conveyed his prayers and best wishes for the wellbeing of Muslim communities across the United Kingdom and expressed his appreciation for the important role played by the London Central Mosque and Islamic Cultural Centre in serving Muslims and the wider community.
Dr Al Dubayan thanked His Excellency and his colleagues for their valued visit and expressed his desire to continue strengthening relations and working closely with the Malaysian High Commission and the wider Malaysian community in the future.
