The London Central Mosque Trust & Islamic Cultural Centre was pleased to welcome members of the Perwakilan London Malaysian women's group, accompanied by
His Excellency Dato' Indera Dr Azfar bin Mohamad Mustafar, High Commissioner of Malaysia to the United Kingdom, for a special religious class on Tawheed delivered by the Director General Dr Ahmad Al Dubayan.
The session, held in the Boardroom of the Islamic Cultural Centre, was organised by the Religious Bureau (Biro Agama) of Perwakilan London, in collaboration with the London Central Mosque and Islamic Cultural Centre, as part of a series of religious classes scheduled to take place at the Centre during September, October and November.
The programme opened with remarks by His Excellency Dato' Indera Dr Azfar bin Mohamad Mustafar, who thanked the London Central Mosque and Islamic Cultural Centre and its Director General, Dr Ahmad Al Dubayan, for welcoming the Malaysian community and supporting the programme.

His Excellency expressed his appreciation for the Centre's continued cooperation with the Malaysian High Commission and highlighted the importance of building closer ties between the Malaysian High Commission and the London Central Mosque and Islamic Cultural Centre. He welcomed opportunities for further collaboration, particularly in the areas of religious education, community engagement and programmes benefiting the Malaysian community in the United Kingdom.
Following the opening remarks, Dr Ahmad Al Dubayan delivered a lesson on Tawheed - the Oneness and absolute uniqueness of Allah, one of the fundamental principles of the Islamic faith.
During the lesson, Dr Al Dubayan explained the central importance of Tawheed in Islamic belief and worship, reflecting on how a correct understanding of the Oneness of Allah strengthens a Muslim's faith and shapes their relationship with Allah and their approach to everyday life.

The session also provided participants with an opportunity to engage with Dr Al Dubayan, ask questions and deepen their understanding of this fundamental aspect of the Islamic faith.
The gathering reflects the London Central Mosque and Islamic Cultural Centre's longstanding commitment to Islamic education, the advancement of religious knowledge and engagement with the diverse Muslim communities of the United Kingdom. It also represents another positive step in strengthening the relationship between the Centre, the Malaysian High Commission and the wider Malaysian community.
The London Central Mosque and Islamic Cultural Centre looks forward to welcoming the Perwakilan London group for further sessions throughout September, October and November 2026, and to continuing its close cooperation with the Malaysian High Commission in support of religious education and community engagement.
Dr Al Dubayan thanked His Excellency, the Religious Bureau and all those who attended, and expressed his hope that the programme would contribute to greater Islamic knowledge while further strengthening the longstanding friendship and cooperation between the Centre and the Malaysian community in the United Kingdom.
