Important Notice

Please Note that an Islamic marriage (Nikah) is not recognised as a legal marriage in the UK.

Islamic marriages (Nikah) carried out/conducted in the UK are not recognised as marriages within the laws of England and Wales. The London Central Mosque and Islamic Cultural Centre strongly recommend and encourage all Muslim couples who have either had/or are planning to have an Islamic Marriage in the UK MUST have a civil registry conducted by their local Registry Office, so that their marriage will be recognised and they will be afforded marriage rights under the laws of England and Wales.

Due to the current pandemic, and in order to maintain social distancing rules and to safeguard you, the imam & our staffs, we have decided to conduct all the Nikah ceremonies in room 217 only (attached photo of the room), which will not cater for more than 16 attendees.

Due to the Covid-19 restrictions, the halls (with larger capacity) and the restaurant are closed until further notice. We appreciate your kind understanding during these difficult times.
