News Updates

Due to Covid 19 Pandemic, We have minimised the capacity of Mosque following the Government guidance of social distancing.

Our total capacity is 300 for men and 60 for Ladies.

To avoid dissapointment please come on time. Mosque gates will open 20 Minutes before Adhan for every Prayer.

For Friday Prayer gate will open at 11:45am for registration and entry to the Prayer Halls.

Once the capacity is reached, security will close the gates and no one will be allowed in.

We request the worshippers, please not to gather outside the Mosque and follow the government guidance of social distancing.

Reopening of Mosques - Update

7 July 2020
The Coordination Committee for Mosques and Islamic Centres, London met to review the current situation on whether it would now be safe to reopen our mosques. Medical evidence on the current risks was presented at the meeting alongside feedback on the experience of other mosques who have reopened.

Maintenance of the biggest chandelier in the whole of the UK

Even though the London Central Mosque has been closed for prayers, we have been very busy with building works within the grounds of the Centre.
Some of the works currently ongoing include maintenance and cleaning of the largest chandelier in the UK.

London Central Mosque's - Feeding those in need project

During Ramadan this year the Islamic Cultural Centre and The London Central Mosque started a food project to feed those in need during these difficult times.
The aim was to provide food and essentials to people experiencing hardship and crisis, with its main focus being on communities across central, north and northwest London.
