London Central Mosque School (LCMS) End of year party

Saturday 2nd July 2022

The LCM held its Weekend School End of Year Party at The King Fahad Academy. All classes had the opportunity to perform, to show off the skills they had learnt throughout the academic year. The event was enjoyed by all staff, student, and parents. We thoroughly appreciated the parents' presence who did not attend last year due to public protection guidelines regarding Covid-19.

After the entertainment programme, an award ceremony took place where the following commendations were awarded to the students:

  • 51 commendations to the three highest achievers in each class.
  • 34 commendations to the winners of the Culture Competition.
  • 17 commendations to the best memorisation of the Hadith in each class.
  • 17 commendations to the best memorization of the Holy Quran in each class.
The feedback received by parents and students was extremely positive

Dr Ahmad Al Dubayan, the Director General of the Islamic Cultural Centre, participated in the End of Year Party where he gave a short speech. Dr Ahmad addressed and congratulated the students on their outstanding efforts and resilience this academic year. As well as the student recognition, Dr Ahmad also expressed his gratitude to the parents in attendance for the continued support for the school especially during the of the Coronavirus lockdown last year. As well as ensuring that their children are educated in the Arabic language.

Dr Dubayan concluded his speech by thanking the teachers for their continuous incredible efforts in helping our children reach and exceed their expected grades at the end of the year. Dr Ahmad also hoped for the continuous support of the LCMS Weekend School and The King Fahad Academy.

After the celebration had ended Dr Ahmad awarded five of our teacher's certificates for their excellent performance and class management during this academic year.
